Im happy: 29-year-old Mauricio Pochettino reportedly really wants now says he wont be joining Chelsea

Roma attacker Paulo Dybala has claimed that he is happy at Roma and will be staying at the club this summer.

He told LaRoma24 that he is preparing to start training with last season’s Europa League finalists today.

Rumours last week began to link Dybala with a sensational switch to Stamford Bridge, something many will have wanted over the years.

These reports continued to spiral when it was claimed that the new Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, had specifically wanted the club to make him one of their additions this summer.

Thiago Silva is also seemingly convinced by his talents too, with him making the point when speaking at Silverstone that he would love to see him at Chelsea.

Dybala not joining Chelsea

Despite the manager’s interest in particular in bringing him in, it has also been claimed since that the club are not actually keen on bringing him in, with them instead prioritising other signings.

Now, Dybala himself has seemed to rule out the transfer, saying himself that he is happy playing under Jose Mourinho at Roma.

He said: “I’m happy to be at Roma, of course. Am I staying here? Yes we are starting training tomorrow”

The Blues are seemingly currently already prioritising bringing a midfielder in to partner Enzo Fernandez for the future.

Despite being really impressed by the World Cup winner since he joined, they are safe in the knowledge that finding someone to compliment his strengths will make him even better.

It seems as if all the attention is on bringing in Moises Caicedo from Brighton, however they are currently locked in negotiations with the club who are known for not making it easy to sign players from.
