‘It’s sad’: £50m Chelsea player admits he is really missing Mason Mount
Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell has admitted he is really missing former teammate Mason Mount at the club.
He told Caught Offside that the England international was one of the reasons why he made the £50m move to Stamford Bridge in the first place.
Mount made the high profile move to Manchester United earlier this summer, after refusing to agree to a new contract.

The midfielder has been one of many previously established players to move on throughout a busy transfer window so far.
Many will have been disappointed with the fact that the poster boy of the academy has been moved on so easily.
One of these seems to be Chilwell, who has claimed he misses his former teammate right now.
He said: “As for Mason, he was one of my closest friends on the team. On a personal level, you are going to miss one of your best mates that you spent a lot of time with at the training ground and away from the training ground.
“I think I said it on my Instagram when he left, he was one of the reasons why I joined the club, so of course it’s sad for me personally to see him leave. But I am not going to comment on his reasoning for leaving.

“I just wish him the best and I am sure in his head he’s made the right decision. I am happy for him and hopefully he can go there and do well.
“I was talking to Reece [James] about [all the changes at Chelsea]. There’s only a few boys who were here last season so we feel a responsibility to be the leaders of the group, to help these younger players and, more importantly, lead by example on the pitch.”
The Blues look set to enter next season with a completely new look, and Chilwell is likely to be big for that.
