Report: Mauricio Pochettino to have a big say in what Chelsea do with 30-year-old he wants out
Reports have claimed that Mauricio Pochettino is set to be given the final say on what happens to Romelu Lukaku this summer.
According to the Mail Online, the manager will be given the chance to decide whether the club should loan, sell permanently, or even keep hold of the Belgian going into next season.
All of the signs have suggested that Lukaku wants to leave Chelsea this summer, with him enjoying a loan spell back at Inter Milan last season.

He helped his side to a Champions League final appearance, however personally missed a big chance in what ended up to be a narrow defeat to Manchester City.
This all happened just a season after he was supposed to be the answer to a lot of Chelsea’s problems in front of goal.

However, he did his best to tarnish the relationship he had with supporters, and has ultimately been a huge failure at Stamford Bridge in his second spell.
As July has come around, he is now officially a member of Chelsea again, however is hoping the club can come to an agreement with Inter Milan in order to allow him to play his football there again next season.

There is also a lucrative offer on the table from Saudi Arabia, with it being one that he is currently not looking to take but may be forced to if Inter don’t come with a big offer soon.
As well as this, there is the chance that he remains at Stamford Bridge, where he may have the opportunity to work with Pochettino.
The Argentine was previously reported to be open to that prospect, and may be convinced that he could resurrect his career if he was forced to stay.
