Thomas Tuchel has now personally met with Chelsea target who Pochettino thinks is amazing journalist
Journalist Christian Falk has claimed that Thomas Tuchel has personally met with Harry Kane about signing him this summer.
He took to Twitter to state that the striker has actually told the German that he is interested in the opportunity to win the Champions League with Bayern Munich.
Many will have been thinking that Chelsea will have made a cheeky effort to sign Kane this summer, with him only having one year left on his contract in North London.
This is mostly off the back of the club’s new manager being Mauricio Pochettino, who has of course got plenty of history with Kane at Tottenham.
The Argentine has previously described him as ‘amazing’, and the admiration is mutual between player and coach.
However, reports recently have stated that the England international was in conversations with the Blues a couple of years ago, although admitted he would struggle to see himself making the move across the capital.
Tuchel meets Kane
One move that could tempt him however is across to Germany, which would see him begin to work with former Blues boss Tuchel.
Falk has now claimed that the manager has now personally met Kane in London to discuss the potential of a move to the Bundesliga champions.
He said: “Thomas Tuchel has met Harry Kane at his home in London to Talk about a Transfer to FC Bayern. Kane told Tuchel it would appeal to him to win with Bayern the Champions League.”
The Chelsea striker situation is likely to still need addressing, even with the additions of Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson.
One of the players they have been strongest linked to is Victor Osimhen, however a move that would smash their transfer record is not what is wanted right now.
