Aurelien Tchouameni really impressed by 25-year-old Chelsea player’s performance against Liverpool
Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has taken to social media to heap praise on Chelsea’s Axel Disasi after his performance yesterday.
The Frenchman took to Instagram to praise his countryman after he made his debut for his new club at Stamford Bridge.
Disasi was perhaps the shock inclusion from Mauricio Pochettino yesterday, as he perhaps looked to spring a surprise on Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.
As far as debuts go, it went pretty well for the 25-year-old against a very tough opposition who started strong.
After going a goal behind, it was the defender’s instinctive finish that brought them back level and they soon got on top in the match.
Following the goal, he let out a passionate celebration that will have impressed supporters who realistically will have known very little about him when he was signed.
He seems to have already formed quite the bond with vice-captain Ben Chilwell, who set up his goal midway through the first half.
They took part in the interview together after the game, where Disasi claimed that the England international had already told him that he was going to score today.
His performance saw him handed plenty of praise on Instagram, and Tchouameni left his own comment of appreciation for the display.
The midfielder has been a player linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the past, and was certainly someone they should have been looking to sign if they missed out on bringing in Moises Caicedo.
However, it now looks like a deal for the Ecuador international is going to be completed after an agreement with Brighton was reached last night.
He is expected to complete his medical and join up with his new teammates as early as today.
