'High on the list': 'Outstanding' PL player is willing to join Chelsea before Friday - journalist
Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Manchester City starlet Cole Palmer would be open to a move to Chelsea this summer.
He took to Twitter to state that the player was one of the names mentioned during a key meeting at Cobham yesterday to discuss targets.
It is no surprise to anyone at this point that Chelsea appear to not yet be finished in the transfer market.

This is despite there only being three days left this summer for them to bring any players in as well as let anymore leave.
It has been widely claimed that Mauricio Pochettino is now looking to complete a deal for an attacking player who has the versatility to play anywhere in the attack,
Now, it has been claimed that they have ended up on Palmer as one of their main targets.
Palmer open to Chelsea move
The City man has enjoyed a prosperous start to his career. He was recently described as ‘outstanding’ by Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Jacobs has now claimed that if a deal is struck between the two Premier League giants, the Englishman would be open to playing his football at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “Cole Palmer a genuine option for Chelsea, as Fabrizio Romano revealed. Chelsea’s leadership and recruitment team held a key meeting at Cobham to run through several attack-minded targets.

“Palmer high on the list. Manchester City position unclear, but understand Palmer is open to move.”
He is not currently the only name being considered by the Blues in the final days of the window.
They have also been linked with Premier League phenomenon Emile Smith Rowe, as well as Barcelona outcast Ansu Fati.
