'Infuriated': 24-year-old who Chelsea reportedly want to sign is now being kept out of training - journalist
Journalist Duncan Castles has claimed that Kylian Mbappe is set to train away from the first team when PSG return to work today.
He took to Twitter to state that his refusal to engage with any clubs over a potential deal has left the club very frustrated.
Chelsea are just one of the clubs who have been strongly linked with a move for Mbappe this summer.
In what is a sensational turn of events, one of the best players in the world is seemingly wanted out by his current club just weeks before the season gets underway.
The Blues have frequently been mentioned as one of the more likely landing spots for him, given very few could afford the luxury of having him even for a year.
There is also the already formed relationship between the France international and the new manager at Stamford Bridge, after Mauricio Pochettino worked with him at PSG.
Mbappe training away from first team
However, up to now there has been no engagement from Mbappe over a potential move to West London, with Real Madrid still looking the most likely option for where he ends up.
Castles has claimed that his time at PSG is certainly looking as if it has come to and end, with him now being cast away to train with the players who are not set to be involved next season.
He said: “Kylian Mbappe will remain in Paris Saint-Germain’s ‘loft’ squad when the French champions resume training tomorrow.
“PSG infuriated by Mbappe’s refusal to engage on any deal that would secure the club a transfer fee.”
The Blues are currently working hard to get a huge deal to sign Moises Caicedo over the line. They have been frustrated by Brighton up to now.
