'Made it easier': Moises Caicedo says £63m player who Chelsea may sell helped convinced him to join
New Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has claimed that there was one player in particular who helped convince him to make the move to Stamford Bridge.
He has told the official club website that Marc Cucurella in particular was in contact with him, and made it easier for him to choose Stamford Bridge.
The saga surrounding where Caicedo will play his football next season has finally come to an end. He was announced officially yesterday as Chelsea’s record signing.

They have been keen to bring him in throughout the entire window, although faced serious competition late on from Liverpool for his signature.
The Reds even agreed a fee with Brighton first over a deal. However, his ambition to join Chelsea saw him reject the chance to complete a medical with them.
Cucurella convinced Caicedo
Now, the Ecuadorian has been speaking for the first time as a new Chelsea player, and he has discussed the two players in particular who made his decision much easier.
He said: “I know Robert Sanchez and Marc Cucurella, they speak so well about Chelsea which made it easier to join.”
The club are hopeful that he will be able to make his debut next weekend against West Ham United in Mauricio Pochettino’s first away game at his new club.

He will almost surely form a sensational midfield partnership with Enzo Fernandez, who seems to have taken his game to the next level already this season.
Cucurella meanwhile did not feature in the game against Liverpool, and looks as if he is in trouble this season.
Despite signing for £63m just 12 months ago, he could already be on the move this summer amid rumours of a move to Newcastle.
