'Great calmness': BBC pundit in awe of 20-year-old Chelsea player who's brilliant on the ball
Former Premier League player Matthew Upson believes Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has a big future with England.
Levi Colwill was called up to the latest Three Lions squad and, while he did not feature in their 1-1 draw with Ukraine on Saturday, Upson thinks he could have a huge role for his country in the future and has praised his calmness in possession.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, the former Arsenal and West Ham United centre-back said: “Levi Colwill has a great calmness and he gets around the pitch so well. He was really good at Brighton and has impressed at Chelsea. I think he could have a big future with this England side.”

While Colwill has not made an impact for the England senior side yet, he was hugely influential in the U21s’ recent European Championship triumph, missing just one game.
The 20-year-old will now be hoping to win his first senior cap on Tuesday when Gareth Southgate’s men take on Scotland.
Levi Colwill could have a big future with England
It really would not be a surprise if Colwill became a key player for the Three Lions.
He is clearly a central defender with a lot of ability who is already playing for one of the biggest clubs in the country at his young age.
“He is a fantastic talent,” Mauricio Pochettino told Chelsea’s official website last month.

It may be a while before Colwill actually becomes an England regular, but hopefully he can at least make his debut next week before returning to Cobham.
With Harry Maguire having barely played for Manchester United this season, some may feel that Colwill should have already earned his first cap.
Still, at 20 years of age, the Chelsea academy graduate has plenty of time to become a full England international.
