Ben Foster is predicting Chelsea to lose on Sunday when they host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea play at home to Villa this weekend in the Premier League, which already feels like a big game in the Blues season at his early stage.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have just one win and five points from their opening five league matches, so there’s certainly a fear building within the fanbase that this could be another tough year to endure.
However, a home win against Unai Emery’s Villa side would be a great way to relieve some pressure.
Foster has predicted on That’s Football YouTube channel that Chelsea will suffer another defeat on Sunday afternoon.
When predicting the result for Chelsea versus Villa, Foster said: “I’m going to go Villa. I watched Chelsea at the weekend, and they look like they’ve got too many young players and not enough leaders. Villa away win.”
It says a lot about the current state of the team that predicting Chelsea to lose at home against Villa isn’t really that shocking.
If the Blues are to perform a U-turn, they desperately need their home form to pick up.
