‘What is going on?’: Richard Keys tells Chelsea man he needs to ‘sort it out’ quickly

Pundit Richard Keys has issued a warning to Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino after their indifferent start to the season.

He claimed on his blog that the boss can simply not ask for time as he looks to mould his new team in his own style.

There has been plenty of hope and excitement regarding the appointment of Pochettino as the Blues look to climb back up the Premier League table.

However, it has been an average start to life as manager of the club, with two defeats in his opening four fixtures.

Last weekend’s loss was a particularly tough one to take. They were beaten at home 1-0 by Nottingham Forest.

The defeat saw them register just two efforts on target. Their biggest chance was blazed over from a few yards out by Nicolas Jackson.

After the game, Pochettino came out and asked for time to see the process he is trying to carry out come to fruition.

However, Keys has now hinted that this time is very hard to come by at the top clubs, and he instead needs to find a solution to the club’s woes far quicker than that.

He said: “Let’s finish with Chelsea. What is going on there? Pochettino now says he needs time to mould a team. There isn’t any time Poch. The time is NOW. Sort it out for goodness sake.“

The manager now has a bit of a break to decide whether he wants to make any switches to the system that has only seen mixed results up to now.
