'I understand': What Mauricio Pochettino plans to do in Chelsea training over international break - journalist
Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed that Mauricio Pochettino is going to give no break to the Chelsea players who are not on international duty this week.
He told his Substack that unlike under previous managers, there will be no rest for those who are not representing their countries.
This week will see a large selection of Chelsea players head off to represent their nations all around the world.

However, back at home things are not going quite as smoothly as Pochettino will have hoped it could.
They have just one win in their opening four games, and entered the break off the back of a 1-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest.
The loss brought back some very clear problems that plagued the Blues last season. Most notably, their woes in front of goal.
Pochettino plans for international break at Chelsea
Phillips has claimed that it will be business as usual for those who are not off representing their countries over the next two weeks.
He said: “We are in an international break right now and despite it being called a ‘break’, I understand there are no breaks for the Chelsea players.
“Obviously the players who are out on international duty will not be getting a break anyway as they are training and playing for their countries.

“But as well as that, Chelsea players who are not on international duty will be staying at Cobham and training under the usual schedule.
“They might be able to grab the weekend off, but unlike previous managers have done at Chelsea, the players are not being given a holiday by Mauricio Pochettino this week and the hard work and usual training continues.”
The Argentine will be hoping to come up with a solution to the club’s issues before their next game away to Bournemouth.
