'It's been great': 23-year-old Chelsea player says he's absolutely loving life under Pochettino right now
Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher says he is enjoying life under Mauricio Pochettino right now.
Mauricio Pochettino took over Chelsea in the summer and Conor Gallagher has told Sky Sports that it has been great working with him so far.
The above is not necessarily a shock, as Gallagher has played often under his new manager this season.
In fact, the 23-year-old has played in all eight of Chelsea’s Premier League fixtures and has even captained the side.

On how things have been like under Pochettino at Chelsea, Gallagher said: “It’s been great. He’s a really good manager, a really nice guy.
“We’re obviously a work in progress as a club, as a team, so we’re enjoying working with him, for sure.”

Gallagher’s words are really promising. The Blues are not doing too well this term, currently finding themselves in the bottom half of the table, but it appears that it is still a happy camp at Cobham.
And Pochettino has managed to turn things around in the last couple of weeks, steering the club to wins against Brighton & Hove Albion, Fulham and most recently Burnley.
Ultimately, despite their slow start to the campaign, it does not look like the Chelsea players have turned on their manager yet, while he has got the team to perform much better in their last few fixtures.
Pochettino’s men take on Arsenal in the Premier League after the international break, and you would expect the mood at Stamford Bridge to become even more positive if they manage to get one over their London rivals.
It will not be easy, though, with Mikel Arteta’s side currently flying after their 1-0 win against Manchester City.
