‘Nothing serious’: 25-year-old Chelsea player is not actually injured despite fears - journalist
Journalist Nathan Gissing has played down fears that Axel Disasi is injured following Chelsea’s last game.
He took to Twitter to state that the problem is nothing serious after he withdrew from the France squad following a late call-up.
Disasi has been one of the most consistent performers for the Blues across this season, and losing him to injury would be a big blow.

He features in a position which has already been hit quite hard in terms of issues up to now.
Wesley Fofana is likely to miss the entire season due to his ACL injury suffered before pre-season really got underway, while Trevoh Chalobah is yet to be seen after his own injury concerns.
The Frenchman was not originally called up to the national team for the upcoming fixtures, which came as a surprise to Chelsea supporters who have seen him play in recent weeks.
Disasi not actually injured
However, a number of their defenders have pulled out due to injury, and Chelsea were looked to to fill the void.
As well as Disasi, Malo Gusto was promoted from the U21 side to represent the first team.
However, it emerged that the 25-year-old was not going to join up with the squad due to his own issues.
Gissing has now claimed that the problem is nothing to actually worry about, and he should be okay.

He said: “Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has withdrawn from the French national team – which is due to an injury he suffered against Burnley.
“It’s understood to be nothing serious and is more of a precaution after undergoing a scan.”
Mauricio Pochettino will almost certainly look to the Frenchman for his starting team when Premier League action returns to Stamford Bridge against Arsenal.
