Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling has praised his team-mate Cole Palmer after his role in the Blues’ comeback against Manchester City yesterday.
Cole Palmer‘s penalty at the death made it 4-4 and Raheem Sterling, speaking to the Evening Standard and the rest of the media, has lauded the 21-year-old for keeping his cool in such a high-pressure moment.
Palmer’s penalty against his former side means he has now scored four goals, all from the spot, since joining Chelsea.
He has also recorded two assists in the Premier League, so it has been quite a productive start to life at Stamford Bridge for the England U21 international.

Sterling was impressed with Palmer’s penalty yesterday.
Discussing it after the game, the winger told the Evening Standard and other outlets: “Cole took the penalty really well. Fair play to him, he dispatched it. It was a big moment but he kept his head for us when we needed him to come up with the goods.”

It is probably only a matter of time before rival fans start calling Palmer a penalty merchant.
That would be harsh, as the former City star is offering so much more than that right now.
