'Understand': Journalist now shares what he's been hearing about Chelsea and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Journalist Ben Jacobs has now given the latest on what he has heard regarding the possibility of Chelsea signing Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
He took to Twitter to state that there is nothing major in the news that he could make the move to Stamford Bridge, with one of his current teammates more likely to leave instead.
Recent days have seen Chelsea linked with a deal for Kvaratskhelia, which is likely to see them rival their highest ever deal if they were to pull it off.

It would look strange for the club to bring in another top left winger when taking into account the reported confidence they have in the future of Mykhailo Mudryk.
The Ukraine international has been somewhat of a pet project for Mauricio Pochettino this season, and his performances as a whole have improved greatly from last season.
Fabrizio Romano has already claimed that his future is something the club believe in, and this is perhaps leaning in to Jacobs’ thinking that Kvaratskhelia is not likely to be on the move.
Chelsea and Kvaratskhelia
He said: “Understand there’s nothing major in the Chelsea links with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Loads of top clubs well aware of his talent, including Manchester City and Newcastle United. Napoli want to keep Kvaratskhelia, and don’t plan to lose him and Victor Osimhen in 2024. Latter more likely to leave.”
Osimhen has been widely reported to be Chelsea’s number one transfer target, with his addition most likely to be at the end of the season.
The Blues are hunting for an elite striker to do what they believe is put the finishing touches on their side.
They have also been linked with the addition of Ivan Toney if they decide they wish to address the issue in January.
