'Chelsea directors and owners': Fabrizio Romano now shares Todd Boehly's stance on Mauricio Pochettino
Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Mauricio Pochettino’s future at Chelsea.
Things are not going well for Mauricio Pochettino right now, with Chelsea currently sitting 10th in the Premier League table and recently losing to Manchester United. However, it does not look like his position is in danger just yet.
According to Fabrizio Romano, who has been speaking about Pochettino on his Substack, “Chelsea directors and owners”, which of course includes Todd Boehly, still trust the Argentine and are continuing to support him.
The Blues will now be looking to bounce back from their defeat against United with a win versus Everton later today.
It will not be easy, though, with Chelsea not having the best record at Goodison Park.

Will Chelsea sack Mauricio Pochettino?
If things do not get better, you cannot rule it out. Chelsea’s owners have not been afraid to wield the axe since taking over the club, getting rid of both Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel.
Pochettino is not on a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge either, so sacking the former Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur manager will not cost too much money.
It means it would be very easy for the club to ditch him if that is the path that they want to go down.
It would be a bit of a shame, though, if Pochettino did not make it to the end of the season. There have been some promising signs under him.
For example, the way Chelsea went head-to-head with Premier League and European champions Manchester City in their 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge last month. And had it not been for Robert Sanchez’s costly error towards the end of the game, Pochettino also would have guided the Blues to a win over London rivals Arsenal. It was a mistake that the Spaniard was heavily criticised for.
