Mauricio Pochettino had to pull 22-year-old Chelsea man from confrontation after Everton loss – journalist
Journalist Nizaar Kinsella has claimed that one Chelsea player was not ready to leave things on the pitch following today’s defeat to Everton.
He took to twitter to state that he was looking for a confrontation after the final whistle, with manager Mauricio Pochettino being forced to step in and take action.
Jackson was only amongst the substitutes for today’s game, with the manager electing to start Armando Broja in his place.

The Cobham graduate will likely be disappointed with what he produced, after waiting patiently for his opportunity on the substitute bench for recent weeks.
The Senegal international has been the preferred pick up top for the majority of the campaign, however did not have long to impact proceedings.
The Blues were already behind when he and Raheem Sterling, another regular in the starting line-up were introduced, and it did not take long for their misery to be compounded by a second Everton goal.
Jackson held back by Pochettino
It has now been claimed that the frustration of the scenario clearly got to Jackson, with Kinsella claiming only the manager and his assistant were able to stop him potentially being sent off.
He said: “Nicolas Jackson had to be pulled away from some kind of confrontation after the match. Pochettino pulling him away and then one of his assistants dragging him down the tunnel, protecting him from a red card.”
The 22-year-old’s discipline has been noted as a major concern for Chelsea already this season, with him already suffering a suspension for too many yellow cards.
It remains to be seen if Pochettino feels as if he should throw the striker back into the action next weekend, when pressure could really be on as they take on relegation-threatened Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge.
