Report: There is now hope that 18-year-old Chelsea youngster breaks into the first team soon
Reports have claimed that there is hope at Chelsea that one of their high-profile youngsters is about to breakthrough into the first team setup.
According to GiveMeSport, 18-year-old Deivid Washington is being tipped for big things at Stamford Bridge, with him already making his debut for the club.
Washington has been a semi-regular feature in the matchday squad for the Blues this season, with Mauricio Pochettino seeing a number of his key players fall to injury.

The game against Brentford at Stamford Bridge was a huge example of this, and the manager turned to the teenage striker in a moment where he was desperate for a goal.
Since then, he has been finding the net for the Chelsea U21 side, and proving that there is certainly potential in him.
Now, it has been claimed that there is hope at the club his breakthrough to the first team can become more of a permanent thing in the coming months.
Washington tipped to breakthrough
There are plenty of youngsters who have been brought in by the club in the last 18 months or so by owner Todd Boehly.
They have been signed in an attempt for Chelsea to beat a number of other elite sides to some of their signatures.
One of the star additions has been Kendry Paez, although he is not able to join up with the squad until 2025.
However, he has already become a regular for the Ecuador senior side alongside Moises Caicedo.
It appears that they weren’t able to get every deal over the line though, with it emerging recently that there was a deal in place to sign Endrick before he went to Real Madrid, although Boehly decided the fee was just too high.
