Report: CL club now prepared to let their player who left Chelsea in 2022 join Manchester United this month
Reports have claimed that a side currently competing in the Champions League are now prepared to let their former Chelsea player leave for Manchester United this month.
According to the Daily Mirror, RB Leipzig are now open to allowing Timo Werner leave on loan, with United on the lookout for a striker to help them through to the end of the season.
Werner left Chelsea in 2022 after what was on the whole a disappointing spell at the club, even if he has remained popular with supporters.

Manchester United meanwhile strengthened their options up top with the addition of Rasmus Hojlund last summer, however he has struggled to hit the ground running in the Premier League.
He has just one goal domestically, and even though he found the net a lot in the Champions League, they exited that competition in dire circumstances in the group stage.
It has now been claimed that in order to try and find some kind of solution to their goalscoring woes, they are considering a move for Werner on loan until the end of the season.

Chelsea did reportedly hold an interest in Hojlund over the summer, however they ended up signing Nicolas Jackson instead.
The Senegal international has come in for his fair share of criticism this season, however his numbers in the Premier League sit far more impressively than his counterpart in Manchester.
Chelsea are reportedly in the market again to try and strengthen the role, with them considering a move for a player this month.
However, this will only be if the right candidate comes up, which is probably a more likely scenario in the summer after this season.
Victor Osimhen is a name that has been frequently linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, however his new contract makes that very difficult to occur this month.
