'Biggest club in England': New Chelsea signing claims it was impossible to say no to move this summer
One of Chelsea’s new signings has been speaking about why he decided to join the Blues this summer.
Chelsea finished outside of the top four last season and failed to qualify for the Champions League as a result.
With Manchester United winning the FA Cup, Chelsea also missed out on Europa League football. Nevertheless, Stamford Bridge still appears to be an appealing destination for plenty of footballers.
Tosin Adarabioyo couldn’t turn down Chelsea, and it looks like one of his team-mates found himself in the same position.
Both players could start the Blues’ next pre-season game, which is against Club America on Thursday.

Renato Veiga discusses Chelsea move
Renato Veiga is one of several signings Chelsea have made this summer, though the defensive midfielder could go out on loan.
Veiga isn’t sure if he’s staying at Chelsea for the 2024/25 campaign; nevertheless, the 20-year-old is delighted about joining the club.
Speaking to The Athletic and other outlets about his move to the Blues, he said: “How can you say no to Chelsea? For me they are the biggest club in England.
“They have a very ambitious project, not only for the present but the future as well. Right now the most important thing is the present and I am very happy to be here.”
Hard for young players to say no to Chelsea
Right now, things are not exactly going to plan for Todd Boehly and Chelsea’s other owners.
Since taking over the club, Chelsea have finished sixth and 12th in the two full seasons Boehly and Co have overseen.
The future could be bright, though, with the club signing some really exciting young players like Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez.
Others, such as Veiga, clearly want to be part of that, so a move to Stamford Bridge is proving hard for a lot of young talent to reject.
It remains to be seen, though, how many of these young players are actually going to play. Chelsea signed Cesare Casadei back in 2022, for example, but the 21-year-old is yet to make a start for the club.
Casadei could now join Torino in another loan deal, which is a bit of a warning for any youngster who is considering joining Chelsea.
