'New Chelsea player': Record-setting player is having his medical with the Blues today - Fabrizio Romano
Chelsea are reportedly closing in on making yet another signing official during this summer transfer window.
The Blues have again not been shy to make signings this summer that they believe will help the club and the efforts of Enzo Maresca in charge.
The Italian has seen a number of new players make the switch to Stamford Bridge so far this summer. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been the highlight addition up to now.
However, the former Leicester City midfielder is yet to play as of yet due to a minor injury problem.
It has been reported recently that the club were keen to add a goalkeeper to their ranks this summer, with the name of Filip Jorgensen continuing to crop up in conversation.

Filip Jorgensen undergoing Chelsea medical today
It even got to a point where a deal was agreed between the two clubs, after personal terms were agreed a number of days ago.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has said Jorgensen will undergo his medical for his new side over in the United States.
He said last night: “Medical tomorrow in the US for Filip Jørgensen as new Chelsea player. Villarreal to receive €24.5m package.”
Jorgensen certainly impressed between the sticks at Villarreal last season, topping the statistics when it came to saves made in La Liga.
There is by no means a clear favourite at this stage for who will be between the sticks at Stamford Bridge when Manchester City turn up for the first game of the season.
Djordje Petrovic likely to be sold
Reports have stated that there is a lack of confidence in Djordje Petrovic’s ability to feature under Maresca, leaving him actually likely to be sold.
Robert Sanchez has started both friendlies so far this summer, however has by no means proven that he has to be the one who begins the campaign in goal.
The opportunity is certainly there for Jorgensen to do just that, with him likely getting plenty of minutes in the upcoming fixtures.
Chelsea will finally be hoping that they have found their goalkeeper to last them for a number of successful years.
