Forgotten Chelsea man spotted in pre-season training under Enzo Maresca, he hasn’t played for over three years
Pre-season training is well underway now at Cobham as the Chelsea players continue to get ready for the domestic season ahead.
A heap of injured players seem to have got through the first few days of training unscathed. The likes of Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia will be delighted to continue to build up their fitness in time for the return of club football.
New manager Enzo Maresca will also no doubt have been keen to take a look at some of the younger players at the club to see if any of them had the capability to make an impact on the first team just yet.
It was reported that the Blues had told Brazilian pair Andrey Santos and Angelo Gabriel to prepare for the pre-season tour of the United States for just that reason.
However, one player who was spotted as part of the sessions is likely to have been forgotten by some, after originally showing immense promise when he broke through a few seasons ago.

Tino Anjorin spotted in Chelsea training
A video released by the club on their website shows a snippet where Tino Anjorin is getting involved in first team action.
The Englishman has a handful of Chelsea appearances under his belt, however the last of those came in the FA Cup in 2021.
Anjorin struggling with injury luck
Recent loan spells at Portsmouth and Huddersfield have certainly not resulted in the minutes he will have wanted. Injuries have not been kind to him in that time.
Nevertheless, he will no doubt be keen to take this latest opportunity with both hands and try and show the new man in charge that he should be in his thinking going forwards this season.
After being left off the pre-season tour last season, there will no doubt be a hunger in Anjorin to make an impact on proceedings in the States this time around.
