Chelsea fans have clear message after suggestions Jadon Sancho could join from Man United

Chelsea are currently being linked with a move for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

It will not be an easy deal to conclude, with Jadon Sancho’s current wages a problem for Chelsea.

However, if that can be addressed, it looks like the Blues could sign Sancho before Friday’s transfer deadline.

And loads of Chelsea fans are for it, even if it comes at the expense of one of their current attackers.

Chelsea fans want Jadon Sancho to replace Mykhailo Mudryk

Right now, Chelsea have a lot of offensive players in their squad, including Mykhailo Mudryk. The Ukrainian, though, has really struggled during his time in west London.

Enzo Maresca recently criticised Mudryk for not showing enough quality on the ball, and some Chelsea fans have clearly had enough, calling for the club to replace him with Sancho.

One Chelsea fan wrote on X: “Mudryk to Dortmund, Sancho to Chelsea, Chilwell and Sterling to United. Everybody goes home happy.”

Another said: “Mudryk loaned out and Sancho in? I’m 100% in.”

And finally, another Chelsea supporter posted: “Sancho for Mudryk is fair to me.”

Sancho did not feature in either of United’s first two Premier League games this season, while Mudryk was hooked off at half-time in Chelsea’s 6-2 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, so things are not going well for either of them at the minute.

Jadon Sancho to Chelsea

Again, there looks like a real possibility of Chelsea signing Sancho in the coming days, with a report from Gianlucadimarzio.com even claiming that the Blues could be willing to offer both Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling in a deal for the United winger.

If the Blues fail to land Sancho, though, Maresca should be able to survive without the England international.

While Mudryk obviously needs to improve, the Chelsea manager still has the likes of Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto and Christopher Nkunku for the wide positions.

Really, then, another winger should not be Chelsea’s priority right now. What they need is a centre-forward to compete with Nicolas Jackson — that should be the club’s main focus ahead of Friday.
