'Class addition': Sky Sports pundit claims Chelsea have made an amazing signing after seeing them beat Wolves

Chelsea’s attackers really shone in the Blues’ 6-2 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.

Noni Madueke scored a hat-trick at Molineux, but the winger was not the only player in Chelsea‘s forward line to impress.

Cole Palmer also dazzled after grabbing a goal himself and registering three assists, while new signings Joao Felix and Pedro Neto did not disappoint either.

The two combined for Chelsea’s sixth goal, with Neto pulling the ball back for Felix to blast into the back of the net. Gary O’Neil highlighted Neto’s attributes before the game, and they were clear to see at Molineux.

Stephen Warnock hails Pedro Neto as ‘class addition’

Former Premier League defender Stephen Warnock was certainly impressed with Neto’s return to Wolves.

Following the game, Warnock described the wide man as a “class addition” for Chelsea and thinks he massively outperformed Mykhailo Mudryk at Molineux on Sunday.

Speaking about Neto on Sky Sports, he said: “What we know about Neto is that he’s a class addition to Chelsea.

“Came in, had a huge impact, helped the balance of the team and the ball wasn’t breaking down as much when it went to Neto, whereas in the first half with Mudryk, it breaks down because his decision-making at times isn’t great.”

Mudryk has come in for a lot of criticism for his display against O’Neil’s men. Chelsea fans weren’t happy with Mudryk’s outing at all.

Pedro Neto’s transfer to Chelsea could be one of the signings of the season

Neto is obviously a quality player, and the Portuguese is already showing that at Chelsea. The problem is his injury record.

He was not able to stay fit at Wolves, missing so many games. But if Neto can change that at Chelsea, then you could easily be looking at one of the signings of the season.

Neto has the ability to make a real difference at Stamford Bridge. He can cause so many problems in the final third.

He was only a second-half substitute in Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester City, for example, but was still able to make two key passes. No Chelsea player on the day managed to make more than the Portugal international, according to WhoScored.

Chelsea have signed a real talent in Neto; they just need to keep him fit for the entire season.
