'Fabulous talent': Tony Cascarino backs Chelsea signing to become a 'big star'
Tony Cascarino has been reviewing Chelsea’s transfer business following deadline day.
His former club had another busy summer, bringing in the likes of Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, Jadon Sancho and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Neto and Felix have already managed to make an impact, with the former assisting the latter last weekend in Chelsea‘s 6-2 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Craig Burley is expecting Neto to become a starter, not being impressed with what he has seen from Mykhailo Mudryk in a blue shirt.

Tony Cascarino expecting big things from Pedro Neto
Cascarino appears to be a big fan of Neto, tipping the new Chelsea signing to make it to the top.
Discussing Neto on talkSPORT (31/08/2024 at 08:10), the former striker said: “Look, Neto is a fabulous talent who they brought in and who plays on that left side.
“And I think he will be a big star. If he plays enough football, he will be a big player for Chelsea.”
For Paul Merson, Neto is one of Chelsea’s best signings this summer, and the 24-year-old could get the chance to prove that later when his side take on Crystal Palace.
Chelsea’s best attacker after Cole Palmer?
Right now, Cole Palmer is Chelsea’s leading man, with none of his teammates even coming close to him.
He was directly involved in four of the goals Chelsea scored at Molineux, setting up three and grabbing one himself.
Neto has the ability to be the Blues’ next most dangerous player if he can stay fit. Like Palmer, the Portuguese is also capable of creating goals.
For example, last season, Neto registered nine assists in just 20 Premier League games. He is also very good at carrying the ball.
As per FBref, the Portugal international has ranked in the 93rd percentile for progressive carries among attacking midfielders and wingers over the last year.
Chelsea have a lot of talented attackers, which undoubtedly includes Neto. There is also Noni Madueke, who was on fire in the game against Wolves.
He scored a hat-trick, which resulted in Gabriel Agbonlahor backing Madueke to play for England, and that could now happen over the international break after he was called up by Lee Carsley.
