Jadon Sancho posts message after completing his move to Chelsea, Reece James responds

Jadon Sancho has uploaded a message on social media after his move to Chelsea was officially announced on Saturday night.

Chelsea completed the signing of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on Friday’s deadline day of the summer transfer window. However, the club made the fanbase wait a while until the official announcement.

The Blues confirmed that the 24-year-old winger has arrived at Stamford Bridge on loan, which includes an obligation to buy. Journalist Ben Jacobs reports via X that a permanent move will be triggered if Enzo Maresca’s side finish 14th or above in the Premier League.

Interestingly, Man United supporters are fuming about the terms of Sancho’s departure, suggesting that Chelsea may be getting him on a great deal.

English core at Chelsea

Chelsea are fortunate to have some fabulous overseas players in their squad. On top of that, they have some superb English stars at the heart of their new-look team.

Cole Palmer, who showed what he can in an England shirt at Euro 2024 in the summer, is an obvious superstar. Plus, Noni Madueke and Levi Colwill are two more English players to start the new season well, which is why both have joined Palmer in Lee Carsley’s international squad for September’s Nations League matches.

Now, Sancho joins the party and will hope to rediscover his best form in Chelsea colours.

The exciting winger has 23 senior England caps under his belt already, but he’s not represented his country since back in 2021. Hopefully, his move to Stamford Bridge can coincide with a run back in the Three Lions squad.
