‘Late swoop’: Manchester United may make last-minute move for ‘unbelievable’ Chelsea midfielder – journalist
Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked together by a number of potential transfers in the late stages of this transfer window.
Talk of a potential swap of Jadon Sancho and Raheem Sterling has refused to disappear, however it looks tough to see that deal getting done in the final hours of this window.
The story of today is likely to revolve around who leaves Stamford Bridge. It was claimed they wanted 12 players to leave by the end of this week.

There are some individuals who seem to not be part of the new manager’s plans for the upcoming season, with them yet to feature under Enzo Maresca.
One of those players is Carney Chukwuemeka, who is still very much waiting for his career to kick into gear at the top level.

Manchester United could make late move for Carney Chukwuemeka
He has previously been described as ‘unbelievable’ by teammate Marcus Bettinelli, however his prospects do not look good right now.
It has been claimed that the Blues may have found an exit route for the midfielder. Journalist Francois Plateau has claimed that United are weighing up a last-minute move for the Englishman.
He said: “Manchester United are considering a late swoop for Chelsea player Carney Chukwuemeka.”
Chukwuemeka has struggled with injuries since his move to Stamford Bridge over a year ago, and he looked as if he was in for a big role in the side last season before those issues arose.
Chukwuemeka struggling with injuries
He started the first two games of the campaign under Mauricio Pochettino, however a serious knee issue forced him off just minutes after he scored his first goal for the club.
It had been claimed Chelsea were keen for Chukwuemeka to move to AC Milan, perhaps acknowledging that he could be strengthening one of their rivals if they sold him there.
The Blues will be hoping to say goodbye to their injury woes in the middle of the park, with Romeo Lavia the latest to be back on the treatment table.
