Fabrizio Romano shares if Chelsea are likely to try and sign Victor Osimhen again in January
As has been the case for the last few transfer windows now, the news was dominated at Stamford Bridge by one particular saga.
However, unlike when all the headlines were surrounding Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, this time Chelsea did not secure a deal for their man.
It had been widely reported that the Blues were keen on adding Victor Osimhen to their ranks, with them still yet to spend serious money on a striker since the new owners came in.

Despite negotiations going deep into deadline day, a deal was not able to be reached between Chelsea and Napoli.
Osimhen has since moved to Galatasaray on loan after exclusion from the Serie A squad, and reports have said Chelsea are a side who he could leave for as part of his break clause.
Chelsea could sign Victor Osimhen in January
Fabrizio Romano believes Chelsea could well make an offer to sign the striker in January when the transfer window opens again.
He said: “Chelsea FC still really appreciate Victor Osimhen, let’s see if they activate this option in January or next summer. Osimhen has a break clause for January, to move from Galatasaray.”
Chelsea putting faith in Nicolas Jackson
It looks as if the club have plenty of faith right now in Nicolas Jackson to deliver in front of goal.
They recently rewarded his great start to life in the Premier League with a new contract, which now will see his wages rise.
Chelsea believe Jackson is worth way more than what they signed him for two years ago, and look as if they will be relying on him to keep delivering the goods for the next few months at least.
The other natural striker option at the club is Marc Guiu, however despite showing promise in the early stages of his Chelsea career looks raw, as to be expected of a player so young.
