‘Good business’: Pundit thinks Chelsea have actually made a ‘sneaky good’ signing this summer
Plenty of Chelsea’s new boys were on display for portions of their 1-0 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League at the weekend.
It was the changes made by Enzo Maresca that made the difference on the South Coast, with Christopher Nkunku cropping up late to score the only goal.
The Frenchman is certainly vying for a place in the starting side when the Blues return to action next weekend, however there is plenty of competition now for a start.
Some new signings are in this list of candidates, with Pedro Neto and Joao Felix also pushing for more minutes.
Another player added to those on deadline day was Jadon Sancho, with the England international joining from Manchester United.

It didn’t take him long to make an impact on his new side, setting up Nkunku for the winning goal.
Pundit Robbie Mustoe has claimed that he believes Chelsea have made a sneaky addition by bringing Sancho in.
He said to ‘The Two Robbies Podcast’: “Jadon Sancho is a sneaky, good signing at a discounted price, at a good age. That’s good business. I don’t care about how many wingers they have. He looks comfortable, he could be really good for Chelsea.”
Chelsea no doubt see Sancho as a shroud addition, with his market value at an all time low when he made the move.
Enzo Maresca has high hopes for Sancho
Maresca has already hinted he has high expectations for Sancho in a Blue shirt, and the impact he made certainly suggests he will have something to prove.
There is plenty of competition for places on the wings at Chelsea, with many of them joining for big money.
Noni Madueke was again handed the start against Bournemouth, however he was clearly frustrated when he was replaced early in the second half.
Given the start to the season he has had for both club and country, he will no doubt be hoping to be given another chance next time out against West Ham.
