'No chance': Danny Murphy makes his prediction for West Ham against Chelsea this weekend

Danny Murphy has just made his prediction ahead of Saturday’s London derby between West Ham and Chelsea.

West Ham host Chelsea this weekend in the Premier League, which is a fixture that has recently been dominated by whichever team is playing at home. In fact, the Blues have picked up just one point on their last three trips to the London Stadium, so it’s a massive challenge for Enzo Maresca’s side tomorrow afternoon.

Chelsea supporters are desperate to see Christopher Nkunku recalled against West Ham after his match-winning goal against Bournemouth, but the competition for places in attack is very tough this season.

The Hammers have leaked six goals in four league games so far this campaign as their new-look defence continues to gel together. Therefore, we’re optimistic that the Blues can cause some real trouble.

Danny Murphy predicts West Ham vs Chelsea

Danny Murphy is predicting a high-scoring London derby this weekend, with visitors Chelsea coming out on top against West Ham.

Murphy told taklSPORT: “Chelsea have shown snippets of brilliance haven’t they with all the creative players they’ve got. This ain’t 0-0, no chance… I’m going to go 3-2 Chelsea.”

Chelsea must win the physical battle

When you’re pinpointing weaknesses in Chelsea’s team, they can sometimes be outmuscled by opposition teams. There’s no doubt that their physicality will be tested when they come up against West Ham in their own backyard.

Hammers striker Michail Antonio has definitely caused big problems in the past, scoring three goals and making two assists in his career versus Chelsea.

We’re seeing signs that Blues centre-half Levi Colwill is developing and maturing in defence. It’ll be a big test for him this weekend, along with the rest of the backline, away at West Ham.
