The divide between the ownership at Chelsea has been the real talking point surrounding the club during the international break.
There is a well-known rift now between owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, with it being reported that they are both considering their options going forwards.
It is believed both would like full control of the club. Chelsea fans seem to have taken the side of Boehly for if this would be the case.
In the time the duo have been in charge of the club, there has been a mass overhaul of both the playing squad and staff working for them.
This could well be down to the influence of Eghbali based on what a source close to Boehly has said.
Boehly’s side accusing Eghbali of being ‘obsessed with player trading’
According to The Athletic, the American’s side see Eghbali as being ‘obsessed with player trading’, before going on to say that the opposing side firmly deny this claim.
Many would rather the headlines right now be surrounding what is going on with those on the pitch, especially as this looks to be another off-field matter for Enzo Maresca to deal with in the early stages of his reign at the club.
Estevao Willian signing a product of new owners
Chelsea youngster Estevao Willian has been one of the shining lights of the project brought in by this ownership team to sign some of the best young players in the world before their rivals beat them to them.
The promising talent made his debut during this break for the Brazil senior side, as he continues his meteoric rise to the top.
He is set to join up with the first team at Stamford Bridge from next summer, when they will also be welcoming Kendry Paez after the addition of him that was made official in 2023.
