Chelsea sent scouts to watch one of their youngsters at the weekend, but also loved £52m defender
Chelsea have made no secret that they are looking to invest big money into players who can make a real impact on their future.
Serious transfer fees have already been paid by the Blues for players who have not even joined the club yet, although it will not be long before they get their chance to make their mark.
It has been reported that superstar talents Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez will join up with the first team from next summer.

Chelsea send scouts to watch Victor Reis
It has been claimed that the Blues had scouts in attendance for Palmeiras’ game over the weekend to watch the attacker, however they were also keeping an eye on another young star.
According to The Boot Room, Chelsea scouts were watching defender Vitor Reis, who is being tipped for big things in the game.
The centre-back is just 18 years of age, however has already established himself as a regular in the Brazilian league.
Chelsea already investing big in future of their defence
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to pay up to £52m to sign Reis, with them clearly seeing a lot of promise in a player who has already been predicted to become a future captain of Brazil.
The Blues have stuck with the same central defensive partnership for every game they have both been fit for so far in the Premier League.
This has seen Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana start together at the back for the majority of games this season.
The Blues have already invested into the future of their defence with the signing of Aaron Anselmino, who is promising big things when he eventually makes the move from Boca Juniors too.
