£30m Chelsea player has already stated he won’t celebrate if he scores in next game vs Leicester City

Chelsea will be looking to make the most of what looks on paper like an attractive run of fixtures over the next two months.

The Blues currently sit third in the league, and have just got through a run where they faced Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester United and Arsenal consecutively in the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca will be hungry to return to winning ways this weekend more so than normal, with their next game being against his former side, Leicester City.

Chelsea will be hoping a plethora of their players who withdrew from international duty are fit to play against the recently promoted side this weekend.

One player who will also be desperate to see his new side pick up three points is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, even if he is not getting the minutes he will want in the Premier League.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall won’t celebrate if he scores for Chelsea vs Leicester City

The midfielder is yet to start in the league since his £30m move to Stamford Bridge, with him having to earn his minutes predominantly in the Conference League.

If he was to appear at the weekend, he has already made his stance on whether he would celebrate against his former side clear.

He told LeicestershireLive back in July: “If I score against them I won’t celebrate. I wish them the best of luck for this season.

“I wanted to test myself at the next level. This felt like the right time and I wouldn’t have left Leicester for a sideways move – it had to be a top move.”

Wesley Fofana also returning to former side

Dewsbury-Hall will not be the only former Leicester man making the return as a player to his former club.

Wesley Fofana is likely to start at the back against his old club, with him enjoying a very strong start to the season so far.

Ben Chilwell is also a product of Leicester, although will almost certainly not be featuring after it has become clear he is not in the new manager’s plans.
