Chelsea fans are all saying the same thing about Noni Madueke after starring for England in Nations League
England’s trio of representatives from Chelsea was quickly down to one earlier this week after Cole Palmer and Levi Colwill withdrew from representing their country.
This left just Noni Madueke in the squad from Stamford Bridge, and he was rewarded with a start by Lee Carsley for their important Nations League game against Greece.
He carried on his impressive start to the season for Chelsea with an electric first half for the Three Lions, where he provided an assist for Ollie Watkins to open the scoring.

There has no doubt been pressure building on his place in Enzo Maresca’s starting side. Pedro Neto has put in a string of strong performances on both sides of the attack recently.
However, Madueke has somewhat maintained the trust of his manager in games where he has not been providing goals and assists, and the boss will certainly have taken note of his performance on international duty.
Chelsea fans really impressed by Noni Madueke for England
Chelsea fans were also impressed with what they saw from the winger, saying his performance proved they need to hold some patience with him at club level.
One user said: “Assist for Noni Madueke in an England jersey…Chelsea fans just need to be patient with him.”
Another added: “What a performance by him.”
A third claimed: “Great play by Madueke to set up Watkins for England’s first goal.”
Another stated: “Madueke assist on the big stage, all of the doubters can stay on that side.”
Finally, one user said: “Noni Madueke Masterclass against Greece | Can we stop the Hate on Noni Madueke and Show him love | Madueke Superb performance Against Greece.”
Madueke hoping to stay a starter at Chelsea
Madueke will be hoping his performance was enough to see him handed a start in what could be a crucial Nations League game against the Republic of Ireland.
A win will see England win their group and return to the upper echelons of the Nations League.
He will also be hoping to still have the faith of his club manager when Premier League action returns next weekend with a trip to Maresca’s former side Leicester City.
