'One little negative': Wesley Fofana shares the thing that frustrated him during Chelsea's win vs Leicester
Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has been speaking following his side’s 2-1 win against Leicester City over the weekend.
Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez both scored at the King Power Stadium to give Chelsea all three points.
Jordan Ayew scored a late penalty, but it proved to be nothing but a consolation goal. That win means Enzo Maresca‘s side are now just one point behind Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Wesley Fofana on Chelsea win
Fofana, formerly of Leicester, was happy with Saturday’s victory. However, the central defender was annoyed that the Blues conceded late on and lost their clean sheet.
Speaking to Chelsea’s official website after the game, Fofana said: “The one little negative was conceding at the end — we wanted the clean sheet — but the job was done, and we got the three points to take back to London. That’s the main thing!
“It keeps us in a good place in the Premier League standings going into a busy period of fixtures and now we just need to keep pushing forward.”
Arsenal legend Martin Keown has been impressed with Fofana this season. The 23-year-old has missed just one game in the Premier League, which was because of suspension.
Wesley Fofana’s stats against Leicester
Fofana played the full 90 minutes against the Foxes, starting at right-back following Reece James’ latest injury.
Malo Gusto was also unavailable, leaving Maresca with not too many choices for the right-back position.
Fofana has certainly had busier days. At the King Power Stadium, he did not block a single shot or make any interceptions and only made one tackle.
Going forward, Leicester showed very little, so the Frenchman and the rest of Chelsea’s defence did not have much to do.

Against Villa, you suspect that it will be a very different affair. Fofana and his teammates will have to take on the likes of Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran.
Watkins has been one of the best strikers in the Premier League since last year, scoring six goals in 12 top-flight outings for the Villans this term. He should make things difficult for Fofana and Chelsea’s backline as a whole with his runs in behind.
