Chelsea target Mathys Tel gives three-word response after being asked if he’s played his last game for Bayern Munich
Chelsea target Mathys Tel was asked about his future following Bayern Munich’s 3-1 win against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Mathys Tel has been a bit-part player for Bayern Munich this season, but the winger was handed a rare start in his side’s latest match.
However, that is unlikely to have changed anything and Tel still looks set for an exit before the transfer window closes next week.
Chelsea and a host of other clubs are thought to be interested in signing the 19-year-old.

Mathys Tel coy on future
While reports suggest that Tel will be leaving Bayern this week or on Monday, the French youngster was quite coy when discussing his future.
When asked if he had played his last game for Bayern on Wednesday, Tel said: “I don’t know.”
This season, Tel has only made two starts in the Bundesliga. So if the former Rennes man does want to play regular football, then he will need to leave the Allianz Arena.
While the France U21 international now appears to be available, Chelsea face competition from their rivals for Tel’s signature.

Bayern Munich confirm Mathys Tel wants to leave
Tel clearly did not want to speak too much about his future after his side’s victory over Slovan Bratislava.
Bayern director Max Eberl, though, confirmed that the wide man wants to depart. He said: “Mathys Tel wants to leave… so we will assess all the options and decide what to do.”
Capable of playing on the left, right and up front, Tel is a very versatile forward. He could be a good addition to this Chelsea squad.
Enzo Maresca has issues in attack right now. Mykhailo Mudryk remains unavailable for selection, while Nicolas Jackson has struggled for goals of late. The 23-year-old has failed to score in any of his last seven Premier League outings.
Chelsea as a whole have been disappointing recently and have dropped out of the top four. Perhaps the arrival of a young and exciting forward like Tel could reinvigorate them.
