‘Superb’ Chelsea youngster has agreed terms with English club, talks at an ‘advanced stage’ - journalist

With there less than a week to go until the January transfer window slams shut, Chelsea are set to be busy as they make any further changes to their first team squad.

So far there have been limited incomings and outgoings at Stamford Bridge, however there are expected to be plenty more in the coming days.

The Blues have only let Renato Veiga leave so far, with his ambition to be a starting centre-back proving too great to be able to convince him to remain at Chelsea.

Enzo Maresca wants more players through the door in this stage of the season, however it feels as if there are going to have to be exits before that is the case.

There are a number of players who have been nowhere near the first team squad this season who could still leave, and one of these is Harvey Vale.

It has even been reported that Chelsea would be happy to not accept a transfer fee in order to get him off their books.

After interest from a number of Championship clubs, it looks as if he will be on the move across London.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that QPR have agreed terms with Vale over a deal this month, with the two clubs in advanced negotiations.

He said: ”QPR have made an offer to sign Harvey Vale. Vale has agreed terms. Chelsea and QPR now in advanced talks over bonus payments and a sell-on clause.”

‘Superb’ Harvey Vale liked by Enzo Maresca

Vale has spent the last few seasons on loan away from the club, with it looking evident that he was out of the plans at Stamford Bridge.

He was described as ‘superb’ by Bristol Live during his time at Bristol Rovers, although this has only translated into two cameos in the Conference League after the Blues had already secured qualification.

It was claimed that Maresca was a fan of Vale, however a move away is clearly for the best as he looks to kick on in his career.
