'He's not happy': John Obi Mikel shares what Roman Abramovich thinks about the current Chelsea setup
Chelsea have been under new ownership for two and a half years now, with the opinion being divided over how impactful they have been.
Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghabli have certainly not impressed everyone in their time in charge of Stamford Bridge, although it can’t be said they haven’t made the investments required to succeed.
More than £1.5billion has been spent by the Blues in this time period, although it has to be said they are still a few key players short of a side able to compete for the Premier League title.

Roman Abramovich ‘not happy’ after losing Chelsea to Todd Boehly
Trophies have been missing from Stamford Bridge since 2021 and the Club World Cup, and this dry spell is something that would not have been accepted under the tenure of Roman Abramovich.
The reveal that that Abramovich was forced to sell the club came very suddenly, and has left many reminiscing over the times where some of the legends of Chelsea were delivering every single season.
One player who was key to those sides is John Obi Mikel, and he has been in touch with people close to the former owner to find out that he is not best pleased with how he lost out on running the club.
He said on the Obi One Podcast: “It’s just unfortunate what happened: he lost the football club. I still speak to people close to him and it still pains him. He’s still angry about what happened.
“He’s not happy that he lost his ‘baby’ because Chelsea Football Club was his football club. He really cared about the football club, not just the players but the fans.”
Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali rift update
Boehly and Eghbali have reportedly not been seeing eye to eye for a while now on a number of topics involving Chelsea.
It was reported that the two parties had decided that something had to change as far as the ownership situation goes, although neither wants to sell their place on the board.
There is certainly a plan in motion at Stamford Bridge, however things are not perfect, and silverware needs to arrive soon before supporters lose faith in the current direction.
