What Trevoh Chalobah did when Chelsea played Crystal Palace demonstrates 'really strong' mentality that has kept Blues dream alive
Chelsea have made the decision to recall Trevoh Chalobah from his loan spell at Crystal Palace for the remainder of the decision.
The Blues have been short on centre-backs recently after long-term injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile.
It has been reported that they were assessing the transfer market for a potential new centre-back, however seem to have decided that recalling their own player is the best port of call.

Trevoh Chalobah visited Chelsea players after draw with Crystal Palace
This makes signing Marc Guehi unlikely this month, with the duo playing together for the majority of the season at Crystal Palace.
The terms of the loan deal meant Chalobah was ineligible for the two 1-1 draws between the two sides this season.
However, this did not stop him engaging with the Chelsea players, with journalist Kieran Gill stating that he visited his parent’s side dressing room after the game.
He said: “Trevoh Chalobah visited the Chelsea dressing room after their game at Crystal Palace. Relationship is still there. Positive talks held over last 24 hours between directors and Enzo Maresca, who gave the green light to bring back Chalobah.”
Enzo Maresca said over the summer that the likes of Axel Disasi were ahead of Chalobah in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
However the Frenchman now looks as if he is on the way out, and the Englishman is seen as the covering option.

Chalobah’s positive attitude has given him last chance at Chelsea
Chelsea treated Chalobah terribly over the summer as they pushed for him to leave permanently, however were only able to find a temporary move away.
Despite that, the defender maintained an extremely positive attitude as he hoped for a chance at redemption at Stamford Bridge.
“It was hard. With football, challenges have to come, you can’t separate challenges and success. I’ve been through a lot growing up. I didn’t let it affect me.
“Everyone can conduct themselves when it’s all good, but I think it’s when things are not going your way, you’ve got to be really strong [mentally].
“Coming in, training, doing my own bit. I waited patiently, didn’t sulk, didn’t feel sorry for myself but just got myself ready, and I’m here.”
Whether he will remain at the club longer than these few months is yet to be seen, but it feels as if the defender is being handed one more chance to succeed.
