Chelsea youngster scores twice in three minutes in just second first team appearance for his current club

There is certainly an exciting future for Chelsea supporters to look forward to off the back of some of the young players they have signed already.

It has been key to Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali’s plans since taking over the club to invest heavily in some of the top young players in world football ahead of their elite rivals.

The highlight addition so far is Estevao Willian, who will join up with the first team at the end of this season.

Chelsea believe they’ve hit the jackpot with the attacker, and only Lamine Yamal is ahead of Estevao in a list of the most exciting young players at this stage of their careers.

With Kendry Paez, Geovany Quenda, Dario Essugo and Mike Penders amongst the list of players set to join in future years, there is reason to be excited about the whole squad for seasons to come.

Chelsea youngster Dastan Satpaev scores twice in three minutes for current club

One of the names who will be more familiar to Chelsea fans in years to come is Dastan Satpaev, a player signed for a fee of around £3m.

Currently playing in Kazakhstan, Satpaev is set to be Kairat Almaty’s record sale when his move is completed, a testement to how impressive he has already been.

The 16-year-old has recently broken into the first team squad, making an instant impression as the striker prepares for his big European move.

The weekend saw Satpaev make his second start for the first team away from home against Atyrau, and after previously finding the net in one of his early appearances for Almaty.

He went one better this time though, scoring twice in three second half minutes to send his side towards a 4-1 victory away from home.

There is plenty of excitement already over the youngster, who has already made his mark for the senior national team as well as his club.

Dastan Satpaev breaking international records

The 16-year-old made his mark for the Kazakhstan national team during the most recent international break, starting for his country for the very first time.

Satpaev broke the record of being his nation’s youngest ever starter in a 2-0 win over Lichenstein, and is surely going to be in for plenty more opportunities to star on the international stage before making the move to England.

The youngster will join Chelsea when he is 18, and is therefore only able to move from August 2026.

After impressing in his trial with the club, it remains to be seen how much of a chance he gets at Stamford Bridge in the future.
