Report: The insane demand Chelsea are now making in order to sell Joao Felix this summer
Chelsea are getting desperate to part ways with one player who came in less than 12 months ago but has not worked out at Stamford Bridge.
Joao Felix returned to the club as part of a deal that saw Conor Gallagher move to Atletico Madrid, however both players have not reached their previous levels with their new clubs.
The Portugal international spent the second half of the season on loan at AC Milan, however Italian media slammed Felix for his performances as a permanent switch was soon off the cards.
It has now been reported that Benfica are very keen on signing Felix, and the player himself has seemed to give his personal green light to the deal.

Chelsea asking for £43m to sell Joao Felix this summer
Felix said he was inclined to join Benfica after starting his professional career there, however Chelsea would prefer a bid that brings in more money than what the Portuguese side are offering.
This may be linked to the reported price tag which the Blues are now demanding to part ways with the attacker. According to The Athletic, Chelsea are waiting for around £43m in order to say goodbye to Felix this summer.
After signing him for £45m last summer, they would nearly be making their money back on the flop addition, who only made 20 appearances for the club.
Felix was not included in the Club World Cup squad, and instead chose to attend the opening fixture of the competition which did not include the Blues.

Chelsea make it clear Felix is out of the plans
Despite no suitors being found as of yet for the attacker, Chelsea have made it clear that they do not plan on going into the new season with the Portugal man as an option.
Felix’s old shirt number has been handed to Dario Essugo, with the youngster set for a campaign as a backup to Moises Caicedo.
The Blues are looking to add Xavi Simons to their ranks this summer, however this signing may depend on them being able to part ways with the likes of Felix and Christopher Nkunku.
The Frenchman played a key role in Chelsea’s Club World Cup success, but is still expected to leave this summer.
