Moises Caicedo's message to Chelsea fitness coach at the end of Fulham win after injury scare - journalist
Chelsea managed to beat Fulham 2-0 in a very controversial west London derby on Saturday.
After Josh King’s goal was ruled out for a foul following a VAR review, Joao Pedro scored to put Chelsea in front.
Enzo Fernandez then scored a penalty in the second half to double the home side’s lead. While the ball came off Pedro’s arm in the build-up to Chelsea being awarded the spot-kick, it was not deemed to be a handball.
Pedro went on to win the man of the match award, but teammate Moises Caicedo could have easily won it himself. The midfielder put in another excellent performance to help Enzo Maresca‘s men claim all three points. Currently, Chelsea view Caicedo as untouchable, having no plans to sell him any time soon.

Moises Caicedo suggests he is fine following injury scare
Late in Chelsea’s victory over their west London rivals, Caicedo gave the home supporters a little bit of a scare when it looked like he was injured.
However, journalist Kieran Gill saw the 23-year-old signalling to Chelsea fitness coach Marcos Alvarez that he was all right at the end of the game.
There was also one interaction between Alvarez and Enzo Fernandez at half-time where the Argentina midfielder appeared to offer him the captain’s armband while shouting at fans and the bench.
Fernandez was clearly not happy about something and understandably frustrated after a very difficult first half.
Despite managing to go into the break with a lead, the 24-year-old and Chelsea as a whole had a very poor 45 minutes. Fernandez is now set for some rest after being left out of Argentina’s squad for the upcoming international break because of suspension.

Moises Caicedo’s number of tackles vs Fulham
Caicedo had a much better game overall compared to his midfield partner, and his stats show that.
For example, the Ecuadorian managed to make four tackles while on the pitch, according to Sofascore. Trevoh Chalobah was the only Chelsea player to record more.
Caicedo also made five interceptions, so defensively the former Brighton & Hove Albion man was solid.
