Chelsea loanee given standing ovation after 'world-class' performance in debut for new side
Chelsea will be keeping an eye on their plethora of loanees throughout this season, and one of them has just made a significant statement in their first outing for their new side.
So far this summer, it is only really the promising young players who have a genuine chance of eventually making it in the first team who are spending time at other sides.
Marc Guiu was off to a flying start at Sunderland, however has already been recalled by the Blues to provide cover following the injury of Liam Delap.
As Kendry Paez, Mike Penders and Mamadou Sarr all prove their worth at Strasbourg, and centre-back Aaron Anselmino has made the temporary switch to Borussia Dortmund.

Aaron Anselmino given standing ovation after Borussia Dortmund debut
It was reported that Chelsea still wanted to loan out Anselmino despite an injury to Levi Colwill suffered before the campaign even got underway.
It has not taken long for the Argentine to impress his new side, and he was named in the starting line-up to face Union Berlin for the first time.
Anselmino received a standing ovation after being replaced 76 minutes into the game, and his stats showed a very impressive performance all round.
| Aaron Anselmino vs Union Berlin | Total |
| Minutes | 76 |
| Tackles won | 2/2 |
| Recoveries | 4 |
| Dribbled past | 0 |
| Duels won | 4/6 |
| Accurate passes | 73/78 |

Anselmino hailed for ‘world-class’ performance
Despite it only being his first appearance for Dortmund, it has not taken long for Anselmino to leave an impression on his current manager, Niko Kovac.
The manager hailed the defender for a ‘world-class’ performance, saying: “Aaron Anselmino produced a world-class performance. That’s why we signed him. He’s physically fit. He just needs to get into his rhythm.”
After Anselmino saw his January loan away collapse at the last minute, he will be delighted to get some regular playing time under his belt for the upcoming campaign, as he looks to make an impression on his parent club.
