Chelsea fans give honest thoughts on transfer window with Nicolas Jackson set to depart on deadline day
Deadline day has been an appropriate final chapter in what has been another busy transfer window as far as Chelsea are concerned.
Big money has been spent on new players for the Blues, with the highlight additions so far being Joao Pedro, Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens.
Despite work being done on the attack, Enzo Maresca is not happy at Chelsea for not strengthening in areas that he specifically requested.
The boss wanted reinforcements in defence and in goal this summer, especially after an injury for Levi Colwill has seen him ruled out for the majority of the season.
Deadline day has so far revolved around exits. Nicolas Jackson is set to leave, while there is significant interest in a variety of youngsters at the club.

Chelsea fans not happy with Chelsea’s transfer window on deadline day
Chelsea fans have not been best pleased with the window as a whole, with some hoping there is a late twist in store to save things.
One user said: “Such a poor ending to the transfer window from Chelsea. We really didn’t do enough this summer.”
Another added: “Chelsea’s end to the transfer window has been an absolute disaster. Nicolas Jackson now off to Bayern, no major incomings and we’ve recalled Sunderland’s third-choice striker to be Joao Pedro’s back-up. Nice to see Enzo Maresca getting backed.”
A third stated: “Chelsea transfer window? 4-5/10 started off on the right path then rapidly went back to the old ways of signing players for favors/comfort rather than prioritizing what we actually need. We’re now four summers in with this ownership and we’ve had zero good transfer windows.”
Another claimed: “Only Chelsea could make the team weaker after the transfer window.”
Finally, one user said: “I don’t believe this is the end for Chelsea this transfer window I feel there’s more to this, it can’t just end here, it’s not a Chelsea thing

Players linked with late Chelsea move
After missing out on Xavi Simons, the Blues turned their attention to Fermin Lopez from Barcelona as a possible attacking reinforcement.
However, Lopez is set to stay with the Spanish side, seemingly putting an end to Chelsea’s interest for now.
There has been brief reports of looking to add another new striker to their ranks off the back of Liam Delap’s injury, although it looks as if they will push on with Marc Guiu as back up following his return from Sunderland.
