Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler makes claim about Facundo Buonanotte's future after Chelsea loan move
Facundo Buonanotte’s loan move from Brighton to Chelsea was made official on deadline day.
The Blues recruited plenty of individuals during another busy summer, and Facundo Buonanotte was the final addition for Enzo Maresca’s squad.
It’s been confirmed that Buonanotte, 20, has arrived at Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan. Incidentally, Chelsea will pay a £2m loan fee for Buonanotte, but there’s no inclusion of an option or obligation to buy.
The left-footed playmaker is a talented attacking midfielder whose loan spell at Leicester City proved he’s got plenty of talent. Even though the Argentine ace is still young, he’s relatively experienced in English football.

Fabian Hurzeler claims Facundo Buonanotte has a big future with Brighton
As mentioned above, Chelsea’s deal for Buonanotte is a straight loan. Therefore, it would be interesting to see what happens if the South American attacker makes a huge impression in West London.
Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has insisted that the on-loan Chelsea player still has a long-term future at the Amex Stadium.
When reacting to Buonanotte’s loan move Hurzeler said via Brighton’s official website: “This is a great opportunity for Facundo to play regular Premier League and Champions League football this season and further his development.
“Facundo has great potential and we see his long-term future with us here, and we will be monitoring his progress with Chelsea this season.”
Even though Chelsea fans have questioned the Buonanotte transfer, he deserves everyone’s full support now that he’s in the building. Hopefully, the technically gifted footballer settles quickly and provides a great option in the attacking third of the pitch.

Chelsea’s strong South American core
Enzo Fernandez is no longer the only Argentine in the Chelsea dressing room following the summer arrivals of both Buonanotte and Alejandro Garnacho.
On top of that, Brazilians Joao Pedro, Estevao Willian and Andrey Santos are part of a talented dressing room. Don’t forget Ecuadorian powerhouse Moises Caicedo, too!
Pedro hailed the Garnacho signing following his arrival from Manchester United on a permanent basis over the weekend. Let’s hope that the South American players build a positive relationship together, both on and off the pitch.
