Frank Leboeuf convinced Bayern Munich already have strategy to prevent Nicolas Jackson purchase
Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf has given his thoughts on Nicolas Jackson’s move to Bayern Munich.
Jackson joined Bayern on loan on deadline day and will sign for the German club permanently if he makes a certain number of starts during his time there.
Bayern Munich’s honorary president Uli Hoeness has claimed that the number of starts that the striker has to make in order for his transfer to become permanent is 40.
With Harry Kane being Vincent Kompany’s first-choice centre-forward, the above happening seems unlikely. However, even if Jackson does get close to achieving it, Leboeuf does not think Chelsea should get too excited.

Frank Leboeuf claims Bayern Munich won’t let Nicolas Jackson make 40 starts to prevent permanent transfer from Chelsea
Jackson’s loan to Bayern initially looked to be great business by Chelsea, with it being reported that they could make £70m in total if the 24-year-old remains at the Allianz Arena.
But again, if Jackson needs to make 40 starts to trigger Bayern’s obligation to buy him, it is hard to imagine a permanent transfer taking place. Should he even make it to 39 starts in a red shirt, Leboeuf thinks the Bundesliga outfit will begin to leave their loanee on the bench.
Speaking about Jackson’s situation on ESPN FC, the Chelsea legend said: “He knows that 40 games is going to be hard to be made, but at the end of the day, you still have some hopes that at some point you will have a chance and if you are good you know that maybe the coin will flip and it’s going to be better. But now you already know that if you reach 39 games you’re not going to play any more.”
Jackson still has a good relationship with Enzo Maresca, so perhaps the Senegal international returning to Stamford Bridge and remaining there is not completely out of the question just yet.
In an interview following his exit, Jackson revealed that he has respect for Maresca.
With Chelsea signing both Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, though, a permanent exit at some point still appears to be the more likely outcome.

What exactly has Uli Hoeness said about Nicolas Jackson?
Hoeness has caused all of this commotion by revealing the details of Jackson’s loan to Bayern.
He told Sport1: “It’s not a €16.5m loan fee, because the player and his agent are contributing €3m, so that leaves €13.5m. And there will definitely not be a permanent contract. That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start. He will never do that.”
It is not exactly the warmest of welcomes, but Jackson will be glad to be out of Chelsea after becoming their third-choice striker.
