Moises Caicedo took home the Player of the Match award after the 2-1 victory, with his sensational performance capped off by a memorable opening goal.
Caicedo starred in our player ratings for the game, with his defensive contributions once again crucial to the Blues, who returned to winning ways after a tough run in all competitions.

The commentator said that not only was he the best player on the pitch, he also described him as the best midfielder in the Premier League.
He said: “Moises Caicedo was the best player on the pitch by a mile today and he’s the best midfielder in the Premier League at this point in time. I’m comfortable saying that.”
It has been a very tough few weeks on the fitness front for Chelsea, with the likes of Cole Palmer, Liam Delap, Tosin Adarabioyo and Wesley Fofana not able to participate.

With the fitness woes throughout the camp, the likes of Caicedo have had to play near enough every game while players alongside him have gone down with injuries.
Despite featuring, he has not been at 100% throughout this time. Maresca confirmed Caicedo was being assessed ahead of the Champions League victory against Benfica.
He featured and starred again in that game, with Joe Cole praising Caicedo after their first win in Europe this season.
The Blues will be hoping for a strong return to club football after the international break, and Caicedo is going to be crucial to them achieving these results.
