41-year-old boss is 'early favourite' to replace Enzo Maresca as Chelsea manager - Sky journalist
Chelsea are set to part ways with Enzo Maresca just three days before they take on Premier League title challengers Manchester City.
Maresca’s relationship with the higher ups at Stamford Bridge has clearly deteriorated to the point where both parties believe they cannot continue.
In fact, it has already been reported that Maresca and Chelsea have agreed on an exit, however it has not been officially confirmed due to issues such as his pay out.
Enzo Maresca is one of Manchester City’s top candidates to replace Pep Guardiola
Finding a new manager will also be a factor that could be holding the Blues back from pulling the trigger just yet, with the Blues still having plenty to play for in the second half of the campaign.

Liam Rosenior an ‘early favourite’ to replace Enzo Maresca at Chelsea
They are in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, sit just outside the top four in the Premier League and are set to compete in the latter stages of the Champions League.
One name who has always been linked to the job is Liam Rosenior, with him in charge of fellow BlueCo club Strasbourg.
Sky journalist Kaveh Solhekol has told Sky Sports News that Rosenior is an early favourite to take the job, with chiefs at the club impressed by his achievements with the Ligue 1 side.
There will definitely be praise for the English manager for how he has dealt with the Emanuel Emegha situation. His pending addition to the Chelsea squad did not go down well with Strasbourg supporters.

Chelsea have other managers on their shortlist
Despite their Rosenior admiration, the Blues are not narrow-minded when it comes to potential replacements for Maresca.
Imagine Enzo Maresca is gone tomorrow…
Who would you want to take over as Chelsea manager? 👀
It has been reported that Chelsea have at least four managers on their shortlist to take over the club should the decision be announced in the coming hours.
There is interest in Premier League managers including Oliver Glasner and Andoni Iraola, with the latter unlucky not to lead his Bournemouth side to a win at Stamford Bridge earlier this week.
