Ted Curd

Ted Curd joined National League club Boreham Wood in November and immediately became their first-choice goalkeeper.
Curd, who previously played for Hashtag United on loan, has already kept six clean sheets for his new side in just 13 appearances in all competitions.
Brodi Hughes

Right-back Brodi Hughes completed his first-ever loan move to AFC Wimbledon just days before the September deadline.
He made his debut in the EFL Trophy against Stevenage, playing all 90 minutes in a 5-1 defeat to the League One side.
Hughes has only played once since, in another EFL Trophy match, but the Blues have not yet recalled him.
Nicolas Jackson

Nicolas Jackson’s deadline day loan to Bayern Munich was one of the biggest transfer stories of the summer window.

Jackson has scored three goals in the Bundesliga and two in the Champions League despite playing second fiddle to Harry Kane.
Omari Kellyman

Kendry Paez

Kendry Paez’s arrival at Stamford Bridge was overshadowed by Estevao Willian’s, but there are high expectations that he can also become an excellent player.

However, Paez has not kept his place in Strasbourg’s starting eleven, so it has been an underwhelming move so far.

Especially now that former Strasbourg boss Liam Rosenior is at Chelsea, Penders could become the Blues’ first-choice goalkeeper next season.
Ishe Samuels-Smith

Ishe Samuels-Smith was involved in arguably the strangest transfer of the summer. Chelsea sold him to Strasbourg for £6 million, but later reversed the deal.

Samuels-Smith’s lack of game time is even more concerning, as Swansea have been underwhelming in the Championship this season.
Mamadou Sarr

Mamadou Sarr joined Chelsea from Strasbourg in June and was then loaned back to his former club in August.
He was an integral part of Rosenior’s side, captaining the club in 10 Ligue 1 games and keeping six clean sheets.
Sarr was also an important player for Senegal in their Africa Cup of Nations success, alongside Nicolas Jackson.
Ronnie Stutter

Promising striker Ronnie Stutter has scored plenty of goals for Chelsea’s under-21 and under-18 teams in recent years.
He played only once on loan at Burton Albion last season and would have been optimistic about making a bigger impact at League Two side Barnet.
Instead, Stutter has continued to find men’s football difficult, making just two appearances for the National League club.
